The website management team carefully selects artists based on a proven record of screenings or awards at domestic and international film festivals. The information featured on the site is provided by either the creators themselves or their rights holders.
Guided by the concept of “Discover unknown talents and new aspects of well-known artists,” the database actively collects a wide range of information on Japanese short animation creators—including works beyond the realm of short animation— to highlight the diversity of their creative practices for a global audience.
